RMA MIX 18 Rutile stainless electrode with 6% Mn alloyed intended for welding in 13% Mn steel, armoured steel and general steels that are difficult to weld. RMA Mix 18 can also be used in conjunction with welding temperable steel to stainless steel witwood preheating. Weld deposit work hardens from 200 HV to 450HV.
Examples of applications: buffer layer under the top layer of RMA H100 on stone crusher plates and contract machines, rails, rail crossings, and welding of rail wheels and overhead crane wheels of Mn steel. Supplied in robust plastic sleeves 1kg/sleeve.
