I bought a 3008v in spain for turning stainless steel small parts with m5 m6 external threads . Has good power at 250/ 300 revs .Turning 20mm stainless steel at 1200 revs with 3mm cuts each pass down to 8mm finish cut at 1500 revs 0.5mm keeping 0.015 tolerance .Good powerful machine for its size and 230 v power supply.I am very happy with the lathe saved me having to get 3 phase supply for the same power output .I bought a MH 28 v mill have not taken any cuts yet the machine looks nice keep you posted
